Newbiggin Community Area Partnership - CAP The Partnership has representatives from about 50 groups and associations within the village, and meets bi-monthly to discuss strategies for the regeneration of Newbiggin by the Sea. Newbiggin Life (Local Initiative For Everyone) Find out more about the initiative that is aiming to revitalise the village over the next few years, including plans for housing, links and regeneration projects.

Sure Start Newbiggin Sure Start works with pregnant mothers, children up to the age of 4 years, and their families/carers, living within the Newbiggin by the Sea Sure Start Area.

The Healthy Living Centre (formerly The People's House) Newbiggin by the Sea's Healthy Living Centre is part of an exciting initiative being developed to enable local communities to become involved with identifying and developing sustainable practical solutions to local issues.

Newbiggin Infopoint
One of Wansbeck District Council's Public Service Centres - your Infopoint staff can help you with many problems and issues, including free and confidential legal advice, help with forms, advice and problems of any kind. You can also access all Wansbeck District Services, and from 1st April 2003 will be able to issue Bus Passes. The Infopoint is a one-stop free signposting service for a very wide range of issues, and to help the people of Newbiggin.
