Annies Curiosity shop in an Aladdin's cave of a place, full to brimming with all kinds of gifts, Victorian jewellery, specialist furniture ranging from pot-stands to sideboards, artist's easels to dressers. The woods range from stripped pine to oak and mahogany.
Some pieces are imported from the continent, often coming via Belgium from Eastern Europe.

It is a cornucopia. Something for everyone, including:

• Collectables including Teddy Bears, interesting examples of quality antiques
  
• Quality prints and paintings
  
• An interesting collection of quality second-hand jewellery
  
• A wide range of gifts for all occasions.

Annie often has to send goods abroad and is only too happy to do so if that is what the customer requires.

Annie set up business in Newbiggin over 12 years ago. She opened a shop at Front St. and encouraged by the response she moved to the current larger premises in 1996. Both the exterior and interior have a strong Victorian ambience, and inside is a pot-pouri of giftware, art, and splendid solid furniture. It's impossible to take it all in!

Annie is becoming renowned for putting on a lovely Christmas display in the shop which always brings a feeling of nostalgia and good cheer.
