What is the aim of the Partnership?
The Partnership's aims and purpose is to enable residents in Newbiggin by the Sea to play an active, leading role in the forming of decisions, strategies and initiatives to address the economic and social disadvantages experienced by local people and rebuild community resources.
The Partnership may address any number of issues affecting the development of the area and well-being of residents such as environmental, educational, employment, health, housing, personal and social development needs.
What are the benefits of being involved?
You, and the groups or organisations that you represent can have an input into the decisions made about significant, long term improvements in your local area. You may also find out about new initiatives or services in your area. The Partnership aims to be of benefit to and build the capacity of local individuals, groups and organisations and so develop community led responses to issues which affect the lives of residents in the area.
How can you become involved?
The Partnership is a membership organisation. Members are representatives from local community groups, service deliverers eg. schools, local businesses and council officers.If you would like to represent your group or organisation please make contact with the Partnership through this website.
How often does the Partnership meet?
The Partnership meets every two months usually on a Thursday evening and usually at the Sports and Community Centre.

The minutes of the last meeting will be available soon when the next meeting will also be announced.
Agenda items can be raised by anybody, preferably before the meeting, and submitted to the Chair or Lynda Fakir.
