With your help we hope to make a "Field For Newbiggin" in the manner of Antony Gormley's "Field For England". It will be made out of ceramic Cobles, Coalmines and Bays. You are invited to come along to the Lifeboat Statiion on Lifeboat Day between 12.30pm and 2pm where we will provide you with all the materials and show you how to do it.
There will be another final session in the Piazza on August 3rd at the Summer Spectacular.
It is hoped to install the finished piece during St. Bartholomew's Fayre on the weekend of August Bank Holiday (23rd, 24th, 25th August) on a piece of land behind the Coop adjoining the promenade.
